When you use Reqfolio, we collect the following types of information:

• Accountant Data: Name, email address, firm name, and payment information.
• Client Data: Name, email address, and identity verification values (like the last 4 digits of an SSN or a date of birth).
• Uploaded Documents: Files uploaded by clients (PDF, JPG, PNG) in response to document requests.

2. How We Use and Store Your Information

We use the collected information solely to provide the Reqfolio service.

• We use Cloudflare R2 to securely store all uploaded documents. Documents are only accessible via authenticated, time-limited signed URLs.
• Identity verification values (SSN4 or DOB) are used temporarily to grant access to upload portals and are not stored in plaintext format.
• We use Resend to deliver transactional emails, such as Magic Links and upload reminders.

3. Data Protection and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and secure cloud storage practices for data at rest. Upload links (Magic Links) expire automatically after 90 days and can be manually revoked at any time by the accountant.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers for core infrastructure:

• Supabase: Database infrastructure.
• Cloudflare R2: Secure file storage.
• Resend: Email delivery.
• Payment Processor: Third-party payment gateways for subscription billing.

5. Your Rights
